As a licensed media producer, she actively takes part in the living Chinese traditions, encouraging an understanding of the unique aesthetic of the Chinese worldview in herself and in others, and producing English-language literature on the subjects of Chinese opera, Chinese art, aesthetics, and the cultural views regarding creativity and the artistic process. She also bridges the generation gap between opera-oriented traditional Chinese of previous generations and the media-oriented generation of contemporary Chinese youth by producing media that expresses the Chinese tradition in new mediums.
